Futile: Area 26 is our first 3D development released under the name of CyberLink Gaming since the acquisition of eBit Networks.

Futile: Area 26 takes place in Texas, USA with a real life and 'gritty' plot. You are sent back to the Secret Service to uncover some hidden truths behind the SS leaders but things take a turn for the worse! In fact, the scenario you're in probably couldn't get any worse if you dreamt it. Now you find yourself trapped in a prison cell with 4 walls, your escape isn't too difficult, it's the staying alive that counts. You need to uncover not just one conspiracy, but two!

This 3D First Person Shooter/Puzzler game is a high-end and intense game that will keep you entertained throughout the entire plot. The game features optimised and real-life physics where you can interact with almost any object in-game to build, construct and equip. You will be challenged mentally in a series of puzzles to unlock your way forward. Alongside all these brain blowing puzzles are immense action scenes where you will handle modern warfare weaponry and take part in intense first person action.

FFutile: Area 26 In-Game Multiplayer Screenshotutile: Area 26 has been optimised for the user to take full control of the game. The levels certainly aren't linear in fact in most of them you have completely free roam with each challenge that presents itself having multiple ways of being solved. You will certainly feel a part of the game every step of the way. Featuring over 40 highly detailed maps, Pixel Shader 3 Hardware Accelerated Shader Effects and intelligent integrated audio effects we guarantee an immense, action-packed time the entire way.

Futile: Area 26 Multiplayer demo has already been released to the public. It is available for download on a number of servers worldwide from here.

We speculate a release late 2011, roughly September/October 2011.

After some speculation we have decided to release as much video footage to showcase the graphical capabilities, in-game physics and modern weaponry.

You can see some of this footage here...
